Join our dynamic technology team as a Desktop Support Engineer, where you will be the backbone of daily IT operations. In this role, you will provide essential support to all departments, ensuring that computer systems, hardware, and software are functioning seamlessly and securely. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, assist with system upgrades, and contribute to projects enhancing our technological infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office productivity software.
- Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization.
- Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, file servers, ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and software updates to ensure optimal functioning of IT infrastructure.
- Assist in implementing new technologies and systems to improve IT operations.
Must Have
- 2+ years of technical support experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and support.
- Experience in administering user accounts and IT security protocols.
